On May 29, 2019, three members from Tradition, Family, Property–Louisiana (TFP-LA) attended a pro-life luncheon at the Abacus Restaurant in Lafayette, Louisiana. The monthly event is put on by Louisiana Right to Life, and TFP-LA regularly attends.

The May meeting consisted of introductory remarks by Dr. Kathy Allen, the head of Louisiana Black Advocates for Life. Dr. Allen introduced the guest speaker, Dustin Bertrand who is now Louisiana Right to Life’s new Acadiana Youth Outreach Director.

Dustin shared his story about how his mother chose life over abortion after she discovered that she was pregnant, which was the result of having been drugged at a party. Afterwards, there was a lively Q&A session with Dustin and a time for attendees to introduce themselves and explain a little bit about what they do. TFP-LA’s representative spoke about the group’s efforts to expose the link between abortion and Satanism. Members distributed an article by TFP Student Action about a recent run-in with Satanist students during a pro-life campaign at George Washington University. That article can be found here. https://www.tfpstudentaction.org/media/videos/abortion-and-satanism

After closing words by Dr. Allen, most chose to remain, share news, and discuss ways to support Louisiana’s most recent bill, the Love Life Amendment (https://lovelifevoteyes.com/). Everyone left more willing to fight the good fight and defeat the culture of death ravaging the nation.
