Catholics Make Reparation for Katy Church “Pride Festival” – October 19, 2024

On October 19, 2024, a group of faithful Catholics gathered at the side of the road to oppose a “pride” event hosted by a group that calls itself “First Christian  Church.” Among the protesters were a contingent from Tradition, Family, Property-Texas.

On July 21, 2020, nine young Tradition, Family and Property Texas volunteers traveled to Washington D.C. to join a rosary rally for the nation at the U.S. Capitol Building. The event was part of the American TFP’s nationwide campaign to return the nation to order.

 

TFP Caravan Spreads “Return to Order” Message Throughout the Lone Star State – June 18, 2020

Upon arrival to the “City of the Holy Angel” or San Angelo, Texas, the caravan of volunteers set up a campaign at a strategically busy junction. Support from the local populace was impressive. “That’s the most honks I’ve ever heard,” observed David, a native of Dallas, Texas.​​

 

A Clash of Two Caravans in Austin, Texas –  June 17, 2020

Austin is regarded as a bastion of liberalism in a conservative state. Thus, we expected to receive some hostility. Unbeknownst to us, Black Lives Matter activists were holding their own protest in the form of a different kind of “caravan.” As we started praying the rosary, this “caravan” of cars began driving in a loop around the capitol grounds.

 

Drag Queens, Summer Storms and a Dallas Library – June 9, 2019

On June 9, 2019, Tradition, Family and Property—Texas and its America Needs Fatima friends gathered in front of the J. Erik Johnson Central Library in Dallas to protest against a Drag Queen Story Hour. Thirty-five Texans braved epic winds and rain to pray the rosary in protest. They carried banners and signs, sang songs and chanted slogans categorically rejecting the shameless corrupting of little children in public libraries.

On June 6, 2019, Tradition, Family, Property—Louisiana and TFP-Texas joined forces for a “Call to Chivalry Day” in Lumberton, Texas. The venue was the Terra Maria (Land of Mary) Ranch, owned and kindly made available by the Dr. Odis Gossett family.

 

Happiness and Heroism: Two TFP Houston Talks – June 1, 2019

On June 1, Tradition Family Property—Texas hosted two talks by long-time TFP member Norman Fulkerson for friends and supporters at the Historic Italian Cultural and Community Center in Houston. Mr. Fulkerson is the author of the award-winning book An American Knight: The Life of Colonel John W. Ripley (USMC) and is a contributor to Crusade Magazine.

 

Catholics Reject “Hail Satan?” in Houston – May 29, 2019

On May 29, 2019, a brave band of protesters organized by Tradition Family Property—Texas gathered outside the Alamo Drafthouse Cinema in Houston, Texas, to protest the documentary film, Hail Satan?

The comedy-documentary is a film about a group known as The Satanic Temple (TST). The group has been promoting Satanic principles in an effort to destroy the concept of America as one nation under God. The film, which was released on Good Friday, seeks to mainstream the idea of Satanism in America.

 

Support and Rejection Protesting Abortion in Houston – May 14, 2019

On May 14, 2019, members of Tradition, Family, Property–Texas joined other anti-abortion prayer warriors to protest a Planned Parenthood fundraiser called “Cocktail for a Cause.” The event was hosted by the Planned Parenthood Young Leaders at the Axelrad Beer Garden in Houston.

 

Rosary Rally Unmasks Pro-Abortion Lilith Fund at Skating Rink – April 28, 2019

On April 28, 2019, members of TFP-Texas joined other pro-life activists outside of Lockwood Skating palace in Houston to protest an abortion fundraiser being held by the pro-abortion Lilith Fund. The Catholic faithful at the site held pro-life signs and prayed the Holy Rosary.

Texans Say No! to Drag Queen Story Time in Houston – March 30, 2019

On March 30, members of Tradition, Family, Property – Louisiana hosted a Rosary rally to protest against Drag Queen Story Time at the Freed-Montrose Public Library in Houston. The event features men dressed as women reading pro-homosexual materials to children as young as three years old. Protesters were outraged by the news that at least one (now two) of these storytellers is a registered sex offender. Overlooking the safety of the children, the library officials neglected to do the legally required background check on the storytellers.

 

The Left Howls as Houston Cancels Drag Queen Shows – April 3, 2019

Victory over Houston’s “Drag Queen Storytime” is at hand. The series has been canceled for the remainder of the year.

The program, which subjects young toddlers to story hours by men dressed as women, took place in Houston’s Freed-Montrose Neighborhood Library. It was supposed to move less than one mile away in at Kindred Church, described by the event’s organizers as “a church in Montrose known for its support for the LGBT+ community.”(1) Until March 22, 2019, information about the change in venue was readily available on the library’s website.

 

TFP Members Address Houston City Council Over Scandal at Public Library’s Drag Queen Story Hour – March 26, 2019

Public indignation hit a peak after one of the readers for the DQST at the Houston Public Library was revealed to be a convicted pedophile, a fact discovered by the conservative organization MassResistance. This frustration could be felt in the Council chamber. Several pro-family Houstonians addressed the mayor and Council members with impassioned statements regarding the scandal.

 

TFP Joins Austin Faith and Family Day- March 13, 2019

On March 13, 2019, members of Tradition, Family, Property – Louisiana attended a Texas Values rally called Texas Faith and Family Day at the State Capitol. The rally was the closing event of a morning program which included a conservative briefing session in the Capitol auditorium and a meet-and-greet with conservative legislators.

 

8th Annual Port Arthur Lenten Pilgrimage Draws Flock of Penitential Catholics – March 9, 2019

On March 9, 2019, members of Tradition, Family, Property -Louisiana (TFPLA) joined over one hundred Catholics from East Texas and West Louisiana for the 8th annual Lenten Pilgrimage in Port Arthur, Texas.

Following the same format of years past, the event began with the Traditional Latin Mass at 9 AM, at the Church of Our Lady of Guadalupe, after which everyone gathered outside for the traditional blessing of pilgrims by Fr. John Kodet, FSSP, of Regina Caeli Latin Mass Community.

 

2019 Texas Camp: Teaching Young Men how to be Knights in Texas – March 2019

Braving below freezing temperatures, young men and dads participated in a five-day Call to Chivalry Camp put on by Tradition, Family, Property – Louisiana. The camp location was in Central Texas on a ranch overlooking wheat fields, prickly pear cactuses, and mesquite trees that provided a rugged ambiance reminding one of Comanche Indians, Texas Rangers, and Mexican Vaqueros. It was a great place to learn about chivalry and honor.

 

Where Did Catholic Militancy Go? – Feb. 9, 2019

On February 9, a group of men gathered at the Tradition, Family and Property house in Humble, Tex. to discuss a timely topic: the horrible new abortion law passed in New York with the support of Catholic legislators and the lack of Catholic response to it. Referring to Gov. Andrew Cuomo who signed the bill, Cardinal Timothy Dolan said that “I don’t think excommunication is an appropriate response.”

 

Winter Caravan 2019 Day 9 – March for Life Austin – Jan 26

The last day of the pro-life caravan brought the battle to Austin, Texas. Upwards of eight thousand pro-life Texans assembled from all over the Lone Star state. Guest speakers addressing the crowd from the Capitol steps included Land Commissioner George P. Bush and His Excellency, Most Rev. Patrick Zurek, Bishop of Amarillo.

 

 

Winter Caravan 2019 Days 7 & 8 – Beaumont & Houston – Jan 24 & 25

The reaction of the public was stellar. In response to TFP “honk against abortion” signs, cars, trucks, and especially 18-wheelers, blared their very loud horns categorically affirming their repudiation of this moral evil. Smiles, thumbs up, and “thank-yous” were the norm. Cars waiting in line at the nearby Taco Bell drive-through would honk too.

 

 

Winter Caravan 2019 Day 6 – Hiking for Our Lady – Jan 23

Campaigning days on the road, one is reminded very quickly that man is not only soul but body as well. Soon muscles begin to cramp up, and sitting gets old very quickly. So with a van load of energetic young men, it is advisable to provide an opportunity to burn some energy. What better thing to do than an outdoor excursion?

 

 

Winter Caravan 2019 Day 1 – March for Life Dallas – Jan 18

On January 18, 2019, Tradition, Family, Property -Louisiana kicked off an eight-day pro-life caravan in defense of the unborn. They could be seen at street intersections or in marches for life wearing their characteristic red capes and bearing their medieval standard of the same color with a rampant gold lion and the trilogy of “Tradition, Family, Property.” They also carried a banner saying, “Thou shall not kill. Stop abortion!”

 

Public Square Rosary Rallies in Houston – Jan. 12, 2019

On Saturday, January 12th, TFP-Louisiana members in Houston participated in the first monthly public rosary rally of 2019. The rally focused on praying for the conversion of America, and participants also held signs which asked passersby to honk their car horns for the right to life of the preborn. The rally is one of two such public events held in Houston every month.

Pro-Abortionist: “I was a Tadpole in my Mother’s Womb” – July 28, 2018

Today we went back to the Alamo and had conversations with those walking around. Two TFP volunteers talked with a young lady who had questions about abortion in cases of rape or disability. One of the volunteers explained how, in the case of rape, the child should not receive the death penalty for the crime of his or her father.

 

 

Defending the Unborn at the Alamo – July 27, 2018

Today we traveled to San Antonio to campaign against abortion at the Alamo. Because this location is one of the few places with a lot of foot traffic, we were able to hand out more flyers, 10 Reasons to Defend the Unborn. The receptivity here was greater than in New Orleans.

 

 

A Time to Return to God: A Hurricane Story – Sept. 19, 2017

As hurricanes passed over so many parts of the country, most people were thinking about the material damage that would ruin the lives of so many. However, there was a spiritual part to the disaster. During times of suffering, people turn more easily back to God. That is what happened after Hurricane Harvey in Texas.

 

 

“It’s Time for Me to Come Back” – Aug. 31, 2017

Hurricane Harvey was truly devastating; weather officials used words like “catastrophic.” Many people lost family members to flooding and houses were destroyed. However, it is during times of suffering that people turn back to God. With the aim of touching as many souls as possible, two full-time volunteers of TFP-Louisiana distributed hundreds of rosaries and Saint Michael medals at the George R. Brown Convention Center in downtown Houston where ten thousand refugees were being sheltered. The response from the refugees was that of an America that yearns to return to God.

 

Transgender Tyranny Opposed in Texas – Aug. 15, 2017

America Needs Fatima made its presence known in a prayer rally on the steps of the Texas Capitol, in Austin Texas this August 15th when a Texas version of a North Carolina-style “bathroom bill” dealing with “transgender” people was put to a vote. Republicans have continued pushing to make Texas the first state to follow North Carolina and prevent “transgender” bathroom tyranny in schools and public spaces.

 

 

Third Protest against P—Christ Blasphemy in Houston, Texas – Aug. 12, 2017

On August 12, 2017, America Needs Fatima organized yet another anti-blasphemy rally. The P-Christ blasphemy once again reared its ugly head. The blasphemy is a color photograph of a crucifix immersed in the artist’s urine. It came to the Station Museum of Contemporary Art in June, 2017, and America Needs Fatima has been doing rallies of reparation since then and will continue until it leaves.

Protests Against Luciferians Really Work – Feb. 6, 2017

At the end of October, 2015, members of the American Society for the Defense of Tradition, Family and Property (TFP) gathered together with local friends and supporters to pray the rosary and successfully protest the founding of a “Church” of Lucifer in the small upscale town of Old Town Spring, Texas. The show of support for true marriage is overwhelming in Texas and the South in general. Since the Roe v. Wade decision in 1973, the American public has been opposing abortion. Cause of Our Joy – May 2013

We are well aware that Our Lady is constantly working and spreading her graces as we travel to homes with the statue of Our Lady of Fatima. On a recent visit in southern Texas, we were surprised to see Our Lady’s visit to one household as the culmination of a beautiful story of grace, nine months in the making.

 

 

 

Traditional Marriage Crusade at Texas A&M University – April 22, 2013

On April 22 members and volunteers of TFP – Louisiana campaigned in defense of traditional marriage at Texas A&M University. The action commenced with the traditional three Hail Marys and the TFP battle cry, “Tradition, Family, Property – America!” Flyers titled ’10 Reasons Why Homosexual “Marriage” is Harmful and Must be Opposed’ were politely handed to students.

 

 

The Silent Majority Honk Against Obamacare – Aug 2012

After an eight-hour drive, we arrived in Dallas and got a few hours of sleep. Our host generously barbequed hamburgers – what a welcome treat. Like most TFP campaigns, we are running on a tight budget. In fact, we are trying to go the whole way entirely on donations. Texans Reject Socialism – Aug. 2010
