Around fifty-five people gathered outside of the “First Christian Church” to protest an upcoming event called Drag Queen Bingo.

On Sunday Morning, September 18 around fifty-five people gathered outside of the “First
Christian Church” to protest an upcoming event called Drag Queen Bingo. The group’s website
and Facebook page advertise the September 24 event as suitable for “all ages.”

The Grooming of the Next Generation?

Similar “Drag” events, especially story hours target children. In 2018, drag queen Dylan Pontiff,
publicly defended a Drag Queen Story Hour at a hearing before the Lafayette, Louisiana City
Parish Council saying that “This is going to be the grooming of the next generation.”

Two drag queens who participated in Drag Events for children at Houston’s Freed Montrose
Library had histories of sexual crimes against minors. To Americans paying attention, exposing
children to drag culture is the LGBT movement’s latest effort to normalize its behavior.
Americans Fight Back

Seeing this threat, Americans have fought back with protests against LGBT drag events for
children. Since the start of September, drag shows have been cancelled in Chicago, Boise,
Idaho, Denton, Texas and Everett, Washington due to public outcry. This is proof that protests
and public pressure work.

LGBT Center Posing as a Christian Church?

On September 18, Tradition, Family, Property Texas and other local activists added their voices
to the outcry against the grooming of children at First Christian Church in Katy, Texas. A pride
flag flew on the churches lawn. The church promotes LGBT events on its website and Facebook
page. During the rosary rally protest, a few church members counter-protested and flew the
rainbow and transgender flags.

The peaceful protest took place at the entrance of the church. Pro-family activists held signs
that said “Stop DRAG events for kids,” “Stop sexualizing children,” “Honk Against Drag Events
for Kids,” and “Male and Female He Created Them.” Participants prayed the rosary and sang
hymns, often accompanied by bagpipes.

“It is really a scandal that they are exposing children to drag culture,” said TFP volunteer Joseph
Gensens. Many protestors were indignant that “First Christian Church” even claimed to be
Christian while promoting the LGBT sinful lifestyle. “Grooming kids to accept homosexual sin is
child abuse,” affirmed Matthew from Richmond, Texas.

Protest Against Child-Grooming Bingo

First Christian Church’s website has the child-grooming bingo from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on
September 24. An adults-only version is offered from 8:00 p.m. onwards. Several groups have
announced they will protest the event.
