On March 3, 2012 over 100 Catholics made a 5 mile Lenten pilgrimage from the shrine of Our Lady of Vietnam to the shrine of Our Lady of Guadalupe in Port Arthur, TX. Here Fr. Jacob Conner carries a life-size cross in a spirit of penance. TFP-LA was among other groups like the Latin Mass Society of Beaumont and 40 Days for Life of Beaumont to sponsor the pilgrimage.
The pilgrims sang hymns in honor of Our Lady and prayed many rosaries during the walk. They also stopped along the way at Saint James Catholic Church and prayed the stations of the cross.
After happily reaching their final destination, TFP members and friends pose with Fr. Conner in front of the shrine of Our Lady of Guadalupe.
